Acts 7:44-45
[44]Our fathers had the tabernacle of testimony in the wilderness, as he commanded, which spake unto Moses, that he should make it according to the pattern that he had seen.
[45]And when our fathers had received it, they brought it in by the hand of Joshua into the possession of the nations, whom God cast out before them: and it was there until the days of David.
Leviticus 23:33-36

John 3:3-6
[3]Jesus answered and said unto her, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
[4]Nicodemus said unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter into his mother’s womb, and be born?
[5]Jesus answered and said, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
[6]That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
John 4:21-24
[21]Jesus said unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father.
[22]Ye worship that which ye know not: we worship what we know,
for salvation is of the Jews.
[23]But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father seeks such to worship him.
[24]God is a Spirit: and those who worship him must worship him in spirit and truth.
John 5:39-47
[39]You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life:
and they are they which testify of me.
[40]And you will not come to me that you may have life.
[41]I do not glory in men.
[42]But I know that you do not have the love of God in you.
[43]I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not receive me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive.
[44]How can you believe, who receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that comes from God alone?
[45]Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father. He who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have hoped.
[46]For if you believed Moses, you would believe me also,
because he wrote of me.
[47]But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?
John 7:2,4-5,10-24,37-39
[2]Now the feast of the Jews, the feast of tabernacles, was at hand.
[4]No one does anything in secret when he desires to be known. If you do these things, show yourself to the world.
[5]For neither did his brothers believe in him.
[10]And when his brethren were gone up to the feast, he also went up, not publicly, but as it were in secret.
[11]The Jews sought him during the feast, and said, Where is he?
[12]And there was much commotion among the people concerning him. Some said, He is a good man; others said, Nay; he deceives the multitude.
[13]However, no man spake openly of him, for fear of the Jews.
[14]About the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple and taught.
[15]The Jews marveled, saying, How knoweth this man the Scriptures, having never learned?
[16]Jesus answered them, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
[17]If anyone desires to do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it is from God, or whether I speak from myself.
[18]He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but he who seeks the glory of him who sent him, the same is true, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
[19]Did not Moses give you the law? and none of you keeps the law.
Why do you seek to kill me?
[20]The crowd answered, You have a demon. Who is it that seeks to kill you?
[21]Jesus answered them, I have done one work, and you all marvel.
[22]Moses gave you
circumcision, not that it is from Moses, but from the patriarchs; and you circumcise a man on the sabbath day.
[23]If a man receives circumcision on the sabbath day, so that the law of Moses may not be broken, why are you angry with me, because I made a man whole on the sabbath day?
[24]Do not judge according to the appearance, but judge righteousness.
[37]On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink.
[38]He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, out of his belly will flow rivers of living water.
[39]This he said of the Spirit, which those who believe in him were to receive. For the Spirit was not yet born, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
John 14:15-17
[15]If you love me, keep my commandments.
[16]And I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
[17]even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

But I will provoke them to jealousy with that which is not a people,
I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.
Isaiah 1:2-10
[2]Hear, O heavens; give ear, O earth;
For the LORD has spoken.
I have nourished and brought up children,
But they have rebelled against me. [3]The ox knows his owner,
And the donkey his master’s crib:
Israel knows nothing,
My people have no understanding.
[4]Woe to the sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity,
A seed of the wicked, children who are corrupters!
They have forsaken the LORD, they have despised the Holy One of Israel.

[5]What new punishments shall I inflict on you,
When you have multiplied your transgressions?
The whole head is sick,
And the whole heart is in pain.
[6]From the sole of the foot even unto the head, there is no health:
They are only wounds, bruises, and open sores,
Which have not been bound up, nor bandaged,
Nor softened with oil.
[7]Your land is desolate,
Your cities are consumed by fire,
Foreigners have devoured your fields before your eyes,
They have ravaged and destroyed, like barbarians.
[8]But the daughter of Zion is left
Like a booth in a vineyard,
Like a booth in a cucumber field,
Like a city left untouched.
[9]Unless the LORD of hosts
had left us a small remnant,
We would have been like Sodom,
We would have been like Gomorrah.
[10]Hear the word of the LORD, you rulers of Sodom!
Give ear to the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah!
Jeremiah 4:22
[22]Surely my people are foolish, they do not know me;
They are foolish children, without understanding;
They are skillful in doing evil,
But they do not know how to do good.
Isaiah 65:2-5
[2]I have stretched out my hands all the day to a rebellious people,
Who walk in an evil way,
According to their own thoughts;
[3]To a people that continually provoke me to anger to my face,
Who sacrifice in gardens,
And burn incense on bricks;
[4]Who make graves their dwelling,
And lodge in caves,
Eating swine’s flesh,
And having unclean things in their vessels;
[5]Who say, Depart,
Come not near me, for I am holy!âŠ
Such things are as smoke in my nostrils,
A fire that burns continually.
Isaiah 30:8-11
[8]Go now, write these things before them on a table,
and write them in a book,
that they may be for ever and ever.
[9]For they are a rebellious people,
lying children,
children who will not hear the law of the LORD,
[10]Who say to the seers, Do not see!
And to the prophets, Do not prophesy to us truth,
Speak to us flattering things,
Prophesy delusions!
[11]Turn aside from the way,
Get out of the path,
Remove the Holy One of Israel from before us!
Isaiah 5:20-21
[20]Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil,
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness,
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
[21]Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes,
And have understanding in their own sight!
Jeremiah 11:21-23
[21]Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the men of Anathoth,
Who seek your life, and say,
Do not prophesy in the name of the LORD,
Or you will die by our hand!
[22]Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts:
Behold, I will punish them;
The young men shall die by the sword,
And their sons and their daughters shall die by famine.
[23]None of them shall escape;
For I will bring evil upon the men of Anathoth,
the year of my punishment.
